Advice and Guidance
The Institute Council of the Béziers University Institute of Technology sets the general policy of the IUT, formulates proposals for its implementation, votes on the budget, and elects the director.
It is composed of elected members: faculty, students, technical and administrative staff, representatives of local authorities, professional organizations, and employee and employer organizations.
The Chair of the IUT Council is elected for a three-year term, renewable, from among external figures.

The Executive Committee is responsible for assisting the director in the performance of his duties, particularly in coordinating departmental activities within the IUT, addressing all matters related to administrative, financial, and educational activities, and preparing for IUT Council meetings.

The Departmental Council is responsible for assisting the Head of Department in the educational, administrative, and technical aspects of training. It meets at least three times a year, convened by the Head of Department or at the request of at least one-third of its members.
