Advice and Guidance

The Institute Council of the Béziers University Institute of Technology sets the general policy of the IUT, formulates proposals for its implementation, approves the budget, and elects the director.

It is composed of elected members: faculty, students, technical and administrative staff, representatives of local authorities, professional organizations, and employee and employer organizations.

The Chair of the IUT Council is elected for a three-year term, renewable, from among external figures.

The Executive Committee is responsible for assisting the director in the performance of his duties, particularly in coordinating departmental activities within the IUT, addressing all matters related to administrative, financial, and educational activities, and preparing for the IUT Council.

Training Departments

The Departmental Council is responsible for assisting the Department Chair in carrying out the educational, administrative, and technical aspects of the program. It meets at least three times a year upon the call of the Department Chair or at the request of at least one-third of its members.
