Rob&IA at the FANUC Olympiad 2026
Students from the Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT) have qualified for the finals of the FANUC Robotics Olympiad

Second-year students in the professional bachelor’s degree program in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (RobB&IA) at the Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT) have been selected to compete in the finals of the FANUC Robotics Olympics. This national competition is a leading event in the fields of industrial robotics and automation.
The finals will be held on March 11 and 12 in Lisses, in the Essonne department, at the FANUC France facility. During the event, the finalist teams—representing higher education institutions from across the country—will be evaluated through technical challenges focusing on, among other things, the programming, integration, and operation of industrial robots.
This achievement marks a first for the Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT). It reflects national recognition of the work carried out within the professional bachelor’s degree program in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, as well as the dedication of the students enrolled in this program.
The Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT) and the RobB&IA professional bachelor's degree program will be represented by a team of four students named Thomas, Jordan, Kylian, and Dorian.
Beyond the competitive aspect, this participation is part of an educational approach consistent with the program’s objectives, which are focused on contemporary industrial technologies and the needs of the professional sector. It also contributes to raising the profile of the Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and, more broadly, of the Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT) within robotics and industrial automation networks.
