WORK-STUDY PROGRAM

A true bridge to the workforce, the work-study program is offered starting in the second year

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

  • A training course focused on agile project management
  • A program that closely integrates operational technology (OT: automation, robotics, control systems, monitoring) with information technology (IT: computer science, AI: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, computer networks, etc.) to prepare students for careers in Industry 4.0 and 5.0

TARGET SKILLS

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

  • Design and deploy robotics and automation solutions
  • Manage and maintain industrial systems using IIoT and AI
  • Securing industrial systems from both an OT (Safety) and IT (Cybersecurity) perspective

CAREERS

  • General high school graduates

The following specialized courses are preferred:

• Mathematics

• Computer Science and Information Technology

• Physics and Chemistry

• Engineering Sciences

• High school graduates with a technology diploma (STI2D)

To a lesser extent, admission is still possible for students with other high school diplomas and equivalent foreign credentials, as well as for students coming from a university program.

REVIEW OF THE CASE

  • Academic performance in high school, particularly in science courses, as well as in language courses and on preliminary baccalaureate exams
  • The student’s conduct in high school: behavior in all subjects, attendance, and evaluations by the teaching staff
  • Ability to work in a team, communicate, and grow
  • Interest in careers in robotics and artificial intelligence in an industrial setting
  • Alignment with the candidate's career goals
