OBJECTIVES

Develop, design, produce, and distribute digital communication materials aimed at fostering and sustaining business activity.

WORK-STUDY PROGRAM

As a true pathway to professional integration, the work-study program is offered starting in the second year of the B.U.T. in Multimedia and Multimedia Engineering.

TARGET SKILLS

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to:

  • Understanding ecosystems, user needs, and digital communication platforms
  • Design or co-design a relevant strategic response to a complex issue
  • Using digital media to convey a message and inform and communicate
  • Web and Digital Media Development
  • Starting a Business in the Digital Sector

BUSINESS SECTORS

The MMI Bachelor's program trains professionals who work in the fields of communication, design, web development, audiovisual media, and digital project management.

CAREERS

General high school graduates; Vocational high school graduates: target of 50% of the student body; Experience teaching the following subject is preferred:

  • Digital Technology and Computer Science
  • Science subjects

To a lesser extent, admission is still possible for students with other high school diplomas, equivalent foreign credentials, or those coming from a university program.

REVIEW OF THE CASE

  • High school grades, with particular emphasis on subjects related to the major: mathematics, French, English, and digital literacy
  • Attendance and conduct; Motivation for the major, as demonstrated in particular through personal projects in the fields of web design and multimedia
  • Feedback from the teaching staff
  • Open-mindedness, a passion for innovation, intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical skills

BRIDGES

The MMI Bachelor's degree program offers admission starting in the second year to students who have completed two years of post-secondary education, for the following tracks:

  • Digital Design
  • Web development and interactive applications
