Sharing Intelligence

Thursday, October 9, 2025 – 1:30 p.m. > 7:00 p.m.

This event features a showcase of knowledge and skills held in the atrium of the Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT). Interactive demonstrations will be presented by teachers, faculty members, high school students, and college students from the region, as well as by thePFT34technology platform and the IUT’sFab Lab.

These interactive workshops will give the public an opportunity to explore different forms of intelligence: scientific, technical, human, and collective.

The event will also shed light on local economic dynamics through the presentation of the "Hydrogen Mural," in partnership withGenvia, to help the general public understand the role of hydrogen in the energy transition and its impact on Béziers’ industrial ecosystem.

The half-day event will conclude with a panel discussion on decarbonization, with a particular focus on hydrogen, moderated byFlorence Lambert, CEO of Genvia.

Tentative Schedule

Planète Sciences Occitanie:Presentation of robots built at the Béziers University Institute of Technology last year, programming workshops, a lecture on space missions (lunar and Martian rovers), and inclusion in the day’s robot tour.

Béziers University Institute of Technology:An illustrated and participatory approach to supervised learning to explain how Artificial Intelligence actually works.

IES Laboratory / R&T Department:Smart labels (RFID, NFC, UHF) and their applications in logistics and food safety.

MMI Department:Artificial Intelligence Project Applied to Digital Creation.

PFT34 / LPO Jean Moulin:Demonstration of scanning and geometric inspection using a Hexagon ARM83 measuring arm.

University of Montpellier:“Junior Hydrogen Mural” workshop to raise awareness about hydrogen-related issues.

MMI Department / Béziers University of Technology:Workshop on speech synthesis and human-computer interaction.

Béziers University Institute of Technology:Workshop on artificial intelligence in video games: opponent simulation and intelligent behavior, using an arcade machine and interactive screens.

LP Rob&IA:The Game of Nîm and Reinforcement Learning, featuring a demonstration with the Niryo Ned 2 robot.

MMI Department:A cooperative thinking game about everyone’s dream jobs
