This event offers a forum for knowledge and expertise organized in the atrium of the Béziers University Institute of Technology (IUT). Interactive demonstrations will be presented by teachers, teacher-researchers, high school and college students from the region, as well as by thePFT34technology platform and the IUT'sFab Lab.

These participatory workshops will offer the public an opportunity to explore different forms of intelligence: scientific, technical, human, and collective.

The event will also put local economic dynamics into perspective through the presentation of the Hydrogen Fresco, in partnership withGenvia, to make the role of hydrogen in the energy transition and its impact on the Béziers industrial ecosystem accessible to the general public.

The half-day will conclude with a conference on decarbonization, with a particular focus on hydrogen, led byFlorence Lambert, CEO of Genvia.

Provisional program

Planète Sciences Occitanie:Presentation of robots built at the Béziers University Institute of Technology last year, programming workshops, conference on space missions (lunar and Martian rovers), and inclusion in the day's robot tour.

IUT Béziers:Illustrated and participatory approach to supervised learning to explain how Artificial Intelligence really works.

IES Laboratory / R&T Department:Smart labels (RFID, NFC, UHF) and their uses in logistics and food safety.

MMI Department:Artificial Intelligence Project applied to digital creation.

PFT34 / LPO Jean Moulin:Demonstration of scanning and geometric inspection using a Hexagon ARM83 measuring arm.

University of Montpellier:"Junior Hydrogen Fresco" workshop to raise awareness of hydrogen issues.

MMI Department / IUT Béziers:Workshop on speech synthesis and human-machine interaction.

IUT Béziers:Workshop on artificial intelligence in video games: simulation of opponents and intelligent behavior, using an arcade machine and interactive screens.

LP Rob&IA:Nim game and reinforcement learning, accompanied by an animation with the Niryo Ned 2 robot.

MMI Department:Cooperative game encouraging reflection on everyone's dream jobs
